We courageously stand on stage and tell our stories to close the gap, the shortest distance between two people, opening up the opportunity for an audience to resonate with our lives and experience.

This 6-week course will give you the fundamentals of creating such a solo show.
We will identify and develop powerful stories from your life and learn the formula for turning that into a full length spoken memoir performance onstage or in the virtual space.
Through this process you will develop your personal voice and learn how to use that to engage an audience.

The class will culminate in a Zoom performance of 10 minutes of your show which you will have worked through by redrafting, analysis and feedback.
You will also have some understanding of the process of producing your play for a festival, open mic, TedTalk or self-produced performance.

In this six-week class, Christine will help you identify and develop powerful personal stories, and learn the formula to turn them into a full-length solo show/spoken memoir performed onstage or in the virtual space.
​
The class will culminate in a Zoom performance featuring 10 minutes of your piece, and will be open to the general public.
​
If you go on to complete your play in your own time once the course has been completed, Christine can be engaged to help with further development and direction.
